If you didn’t watch the celebrities on the red carpet at this year’s AMAs, at the very least you missed some spectacular fashions. Pull up a chair and I’ll fill you in.
Jordin Sparks’ black and gold leather bodice dress and gladiator heels were my favorite look of the night.
Jennifer Hudson’s tangerine asymmetrical hi-lo dress by Dior was a close second.
Last year, Christina Aguilera showed lots of curves in a Pamella Roland dress (pictured on the left), but her suntan spoiled the look. This year, a tanless Christina wore a white Maria Lucia Hohan cut-out dress featuring a high side split. Christian Louboutin peep-toe heels and pave jewelry completed her dazzling look.
Miley Cyrus’ main accessory was no shirt beneath her white Versus tuxedo pantsuit by Versace, though the safety pins also helped her stand out.
Rihanna went for the mermaid lace skirt and glittered bandeau top. I’m not a fan of her doobie wrapped hair style, though.
Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott showed off her curves in a beautiful bodycon dress.
Some of the men on the red carpet wore coordinated colors, like One Direction:
Rapper Nelly was cool and casual in his grey long-sleeved graphic sweatshirt and jeans.
These are our best looks of the night. Give us your thoughts in the comments. Did you like Miley’s look? What are your thoughts on RiRi’s hair?
