ORLANDO, FL (FNN News) – The 2015 Orlando Film Festival (OFF) has officially taken over Downtown Orlando with five days of movies, panels, parties, and more. Celebrating their tenth anniversary, OFF is set to screen over 300 films from around the world at the Cobb Plaza Cinema Café, from October 21-25, 2015.
The festival kicks “OFF” Wednesday October 21st with the world premiere of “Making History,” a forty-seven-minute documentary about Orlando City Soccer Club. Following the screening will be a very special extended Q & A with the filmmakers, as well as the players, coaching staff, and executives. Tickets for this special event are just $10 and day passes will be available for the rest of the festival for $20 each. OFF has also unveiled a commemorative star for the late Valencia College film professor Ralph Clemente.
Other special events include a special “Opening Night” screening of BLUE on Thursday, a private backlot tour of Universal Studios, a panel discussion with Mark Shapiro of the Academy Award-nominated studio Laika Animation, and an outdoor awards ceremony and cinema celebration.
