Our favorite stars showed up on the Emmys red carpet last Sunday to dazzle! Like any awards show, some stars shined more than others, but the Emmys red carpet showcased the most fashion forward award show styles all year.
Rose Byrne chose a custom-made top and skirt from Calvin Klein Collection. The idea of a two-piece ensemble is modern and fresh. Definitely a statement on the carpet.
Kiernan Shipka was one of the youngest stars on the carpet and wore an amazing dress by Delpozo. The dress is so youthful and fun! Age appropriate, yet shows a fashion forward sense of style.
Malin Ackerman wore a Marchesa gown and was right on trend in the cool blue number. The layered ruffle detailing on the gown makes it an eye catching piece.
Elisabeth Moss of AMC’s “Mad Men” chose to wear a figure-flattering Andrew GN gown. Although the dress’s colors and fit are traditional, the mixing of textures between the bodice and skirt are uniquely complementary.
Kate Mara in J. Mendel was a surprise on the Emmy carpet. This seductive, crisp white piece is perfection! The gown is constructed so well and enhances Mendel’s petite frame. This look is one of the favorites of the evening.
Heidi Klum always stuns on the carpet. Her choice to adorn her super model physique in Versace is a win all the way around.
The above looks stood out on the carpet because of their deviance from traditional red carpet looks. We’ve all seen the mermaid dress, the classic A-line grown and flattering ruched waistline. What we haven’t seen are risks taken in the name of fashion and elegance. The touch of youthfulness and sex appeal shown in these looks is what being a star on the red carpet is all about.
What was your favorite Emmys look?
