As the summer winds down and fall approaches, our excitement always reaches fever pitch for fall footwear, specifically boots.
Boots have always been a favorite for me: tall ones, short ones, and ankle booties, too. They come in all shapes and sizes to include high, spiked, platforms or low heels.
Here are five of the hottest boots for this season.
The Cut Out Boot: it seems no matter where you are on the thermostat, you should be able to keep your feet warm in boots like these.

Biker chic is amazing. Its style is so effortless and less contrived, from the leather jacket with jeans, down to the boots. Here is a cool moto boot for this season.

This year, designers are also putting the “punk” back in boots.

Don’t be surprised to see boots “dressed up” and/or “decked out” with accessories. Delpozo’s Rosie Red ankle boots were among the top five boots from New York Fashion Week.

While these are hot for fall, the greatest fashion weapon you can have is timeless style. Timeless boot styles include lace ups, thigh-highs, and combat boots.
